Whether you decide on a tour around Lake Levico or Lake Caldonazzo or opt for a more challenging mountain ride on Cima d'Asta, you can be sure of exceptional views.

On a mountain bike holiday in Valsugana you can admire the majestic peaks of the Lagorai mountains as well as the legendary Dolomites - or tackle an ascent! If you want to take on the mountains, the various terrains in the Valsugana demand persistence and commitment and can be quite a challenge.

From March to November Lake Levico  and the Valsugana enjoy mild weather making the area very favourable to cycling and mountain biking, which are also very popular with the locals.

There are also lots of other activities you can do when on a cycling holiday in Valsugana. In summer, for example, there’s no better way to get to Lake Levico or Lake Caldonazzo for a lovely swim than to cycle, and if you’re a keen mountain biker, we recommend riding up to one of the many mountain refuges where you can enjoy some delicious Trentino specialties.

THE VALSUGANA CYCLE PATH

The Valsugana Cycle Path connects the Caldonazzo Lake with Bassano del Grappa: a true paradise for all bike lovers. It is 80 km long, with intermingling cultural aspects, history and natural landscape which mark the border between Trentino and Veneto. The Brenta river is a bridge uniting these two regions, a cultural path which resembles the great European Paths. 
The Brenta river flows through the Valsugana, which springs from the Caldonazzo and Levico lakes and it flows into the lagoon of Venice, after flowing for 175 km.
