CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING on the ALTOPIANO DI VEZZENA

THE ALTOPIANO DI VEZZENA IS A REAL PARADISE FOR CROSS-COUNTRY SKIERS.

In winter, the vast meadows of the Altipiano di Vezzena, dotted with typical alpine summer dairy farms known as malgas and WWI forts, are covered with a snowy mantle and transformed into outstanding cross-country skiing runs.

Dozens of kilometres of runs are open to fans of this sport on both the Altipiani di Folgaria, Lavarone & Luserna and the Altipiano di Vezzena, 1,500 metres above sea level.

Cross-country skiing equipment can be hired near Passo Vezzena, while a short distance away is the Millegrobbe - Campolongo Cross-Country Ski Centre, with 135 km of runs winding through the plateau’s snowy meadows and woods.
